Cardiovascular health
Education, prevention and access to care aimed at heart disease risk in Black and brown communities across Dallas — starting with knowing your numbers.

A community-driven Dallas nonprofit working on the health outcomes that brought us out to run in the first place.
The mission
Heart disease does not hit every neighborhood in Dallas the same way. Neither does infant mortality, and neither does the silence around mental health. The Foundation exists because a run club can move people, and moving people can move numbers.
We work through education, prevention, and access — getting resources into the hands of people in underserved communities before a crisis, not after one. Some of that looks like a screening table at a Saturday run. Some of it looks like a seminar, a panel, or a partnership with a hospital system or a bank.
All of it starts with people showing up for each other.
What we work on

Education, prevention and access to care aimed at heart disease risk in Black and brown communities across Dallas — starting with knowing your numbers.

Breaking the stigma through advocacy, honest conversation and safe spaces to learn and heal — including our partnered panel series with community leaders.

Seminars and tools that equip individuals and families to build a secure financial future, because stability and health are the same conversation.
In the room
Programming that goes past the run — panels, seminars and give-back events built with partners who show up for Dallas.
Five community leaders, one room, and an honest conversation about mental health — in partnership with Black Menswear.
A financial wellness seminar and mixer built with a national banking partner.
Community give-back runs staged with national fitness and philanthropic partners.
Getting the next generation moving, competing and connected to the community around them.
Give
Donations run through Zeffy, which means 100% of what you give reaches the Foundation's mission.
Support the mission, or come see it in motion at a weekly run.
