Who we are

A run club that
runs deeper

Run It Up! started as a handful of people meeting up to move together in Dallas. It grew into one of the largest social run clubs in Texas — and then into a foundation working on the health outcomes that brought people out in the first place.

We were built as a space where Black and brown runners could start a fitness journey without feeling out of place, and that door stays open to everybody. First-timers, walkers, marathoners, strollers, people coming back from a long time off. Nobody gets left on the route.

The run is free. It always has been. What you bring is yourself and a friend who thinks they can't run yet.

First time out

Three things,
then you're in

Nobody gets timed and nobody gets left behind. If you can walk it, you can run it up.

Step 01

Sign the waiver

One form covers you for the whole year. Do it before your first run so check-in takes ten seconds.

Step 02

Check the schedule

Confirm the day's location and start time, then get there 15 minutes early to sign in.

Step 03

Run your race

Front, middle or back — pick the group that fits today. Walkers included. Then stick around.

“Whether this is your first run or your hundredth — you belong here.”

looks like

Sunrise starts, DJs on the corner, ginger shots at the finish, and a whole lot of people who didn't think they were runners.
